Building Your Own Solar Panels
In the earlier article i talked about the cost of buying and installing pre-made solar panels from solar companies. In this article i will talk about an alternative way of getting solar panels. That is making your own. Only attempt this if you are a really good handyman and have experience working on and building things. This alternative method to buying solar panels is a bit riskier. Mainly because there is no warranty on the solar panels you produce, and if you buy all of the parts there is no guarantee that when you put them together it will actually work. Though this is a bit riskier than buying solar panels, it also has it's benefits. Making your own solar panels is considerably cheaper than buying them pre-made, and if they stop working you can easily fix them because you put them together in the first place. My point is beware of the negatives and positives of each option and pick the one that is right for you.

Cost of Solar Panels
Solar panels vary in cost they can be anywhere from $200 a panel to $3000 a panel. Ready made solar panels that you only have to install are closer to the $1000-$3000 range. Some of the top company's that produce these ready made solar panels are BP Solar, Evergreen Solar, AEE Solar, and Suntech. Buying ready made solar panels is the best option if you are short on time and willing to dish out the extra cash. The benefits of buying these ready made panels are guranteed quality, warranty, and detailed information about installtion and watts produced. If your not the handyman type and are willing to dish out the extra cash this is for you.
